This provides a fine excuse to hear "I will always love you". Again. And again.

I heard a joke with a punchline that went something like...

"No need to be sad, she's with her career now."

At least Dionne Warwick is getting a little hype. Bring back "Solid Gold"! I think I saw Ozzy on there once. Also remember holding a rectangle Panasonic tape recorder up to the TV to record Queen singing "We Will Rock You" and "We are The Champions". That was some high-quality audio.

she had a wonderful career. just cuz her music didn't have dobro or
steel guitar or a high lonesome sound doesn't make what she's done a piece of nothing. she had a wonderful voice with boundless range. i'll be on this whitney thing for at least another week.

I get what you're saying, and while not my brand of whiskey, I appreciate her talents. I think the joke was referring to the latter part of her life when her career wasn't so tip-top.

great stuff.

Kevin Costner, the leading man who costarred with Whitney Houston in her greatest movie hit, The Bodyguard, is planning to speak at her funeral this weekend, a family source tells PEOPLE.

wish it were televised, i'm sad. her alleged cause of death is a wake up call. off to NA.

This is crazy, but last night I watched a real nutty movie with Kevin Costner called Mr Brooks. He plays a normal family man/crazy serial killer. As soon as the movie was over I flipped over to CNN and imediately saw Costner eulogizing Whitney. Coincidence? I think not.
