ya'll can suck it,,, i vote for thin lizzy as the most overrated band of all time... all i ever hear is 'thin lizzy this' and 'thin lizzy that' screw phil lynett and his band's double guitar attack. MOJO can't seem to go a month w/out putting 1976's 'Jailbreak' at the top of some over-hyped best-of list; whether it's 'best album of all-time' or 'most impressive double guitar action on any album ever'...
also, if i ever see ? from ? and the mysterians on the street, i'm gonna give him a bruising because i'm sick of reading david fricke's weekly rants about the mind-numbing greatness of '96 Tears.' those two must be lovers. |

Nice rant! I didn't know Thin Lizzy was still getting any press coverage and that people still listen to Jailbreak. David Fricke likes ? and the Mysterians, I never knew. When you find ? go easy he's an old man by now. I've been thinking and I've changed my vote for the most overrated band. The new winner's are The Eagles. I'll go put on my bullet proof vest now.

For me the Dave Matthews Band is the most overrated. They're okay (I guess), but I can't hear anything worth going crazy over. _________________ sometimes when you're doing simple things around the house, maybe you'll think of me and smile... |

| the eagles had their moment. dmb, like phish, it's the live 'grateful dead' experience. although when i saw them in london the albert hall was jam packed stuffed with every american in england all shouting and yelling hey hi marty maaaan over here dude - do americans ever actually listen to the band? dont enjoy listeneing to dmb or phish, except some live stuff: phish playing 'bouncing round the room' and 'stash' has me going sometimes. predictable college noodly bollocks but exciting and fun. who is it plays guitar, anastasio or sumfin, pat metheney meets gary moore - bloody marvellous. i even enjoyed seeing matchbox twenty once. |
